Having trouble leveling mower deck on BX2200. Ive followed the manuel but when deck is lowered the left side bottoms down before the right side. once all is bottomed out blades are level. The uneven lowering doesn't seem right. My left side ajuster is maxed out. Is this normal? our am I missing something. Please help.

Yup, I have the same problem with my BX MMM (60 incher). I played around with it for hours and couldn't get it to lower evenly. Tried adjusting the spring balances, the adjusters on each side as well as the long threaded rod that goes back to the rear right of the seat.

The deck is level when down, but raises and lowers unevenly. I sure wasnt impressed with the adjustments. Deck still mows just fine though. no complaints there! Im just left wondering if I bent something somehow (like maybe the front link from mowing on an incline) and dont feel like I should have to take it to a dealer to adjust something that should be well within my abilities. Kubota needs to publish a new procedure for getting this right or theyll have a lot of unhappy owners.

We have a G1900/60" MMM and a BX2200/60" MMM.Both decks have always lowered in this manor. We have a bagger for the BX,when the weight of the boot and discharge tube is on the deck,it lowers evenly.I think this lowering differance is to compensate for the weight of the bagging equipment.

Just my thoughts, both decks always level out perfectly when lowered to cutting height.

jmp,
the 60" mmm i had on my b2410 did the same thing. left side hit the ground first. i just never bothered with it since it happend from day one. i would just leave it be.

My new bx2370 does this too, worked multiple ways today to adjust and figure it out. I assume its normal as the mowing height is level once down...

Guess it's not that critical for it to raise and lower evenly if it is level whle cutting. What might be happening though is that the L side is directly connected to the Lift arm for the MMM. Then the R side is connected to the L side but there may be some play in it allowing the L side to start raising or lowering before the R side.
On my MMM (RCK60-29b) there is a hole through the shaft on the R side for a pin to go through. Somehow the pin broke one time and the MMM would not raise or lower much on the R side. I tried putting a bolt through the hole and the R side raised and lowered better but the bolt was less diameter than the pin and left some play so the R side still didn't move up or down fully. It took just the right size pin through the hole to keep L and R side moving evenly.

Make sure the balancer is even, I have had rocks get jammed under the bar and it sets down uneven.
