I need to get back to this wonderful hobby... been lazy not wanting to carry an arsenal of lenses and 'shooting' only with my iPhone X. I do want to trade my Canon 70-200is for a longer L prime. I am done with kids sports. It was a great lens but now I want to shoot birds as mine have flown the nest!

I prefer nature stuff, but gotta support my 13 year old. Sigh... LOL

We don't see much around our house. Mostly cardinals, blue jays and red-tailed hawks. Enjoy it nonetheless!

I would love longer glass, but with the 500 kit coming in at just under $3K, my budget is shot for a LONG time! I do have a 70-300mm that isn't bad and with the 500's sensor it should do fairly well. The DX 1.5x crop takes it out to 450mm. Stops raining I might walk around the neighborhood this weekend and see if I see anything moving, or flying.

We have bald eagles a plenty here from spring through summer! Hummingbirds and woodpeckers and all the common birds too.

Tooks lots of basketball, volleyball, wrestling, football, baseball, soccer, and .... pics. the 70 to 200is was great... when needed I threw on a 1.4x.

I finally bought a FF camera, I bought a Leica SL and am shooting manual M lenses on it....

I finally bought a used Pentax k20d. The price was right and it could use all of my old lenses I've had since the k1000 and super program . I picked up one new lens as well, autofocus is pretty nice, but the computer on the old manual focus doesn't get fooled as much.
