Yeah, not sure on the exact year. I am guessing 1983-4. Some mechanical problems and leaks but runs good. I should be able to get it in good shape. Will post pictures when it's done. Probably towards end of the year depending on setbacks. I don't have a lot of pictures of the loader other than where it needs repairs and another of the front. There was a cross brace missing from under the gearbox for the loader that I'll need to recreate. There's a lot of work ahead for me. Thankfully it was a cheap acquisition.

Yes it is the 3-cylinder K3A Mitsubishi engine. I haven't come across a lot of these and was pleasantly surprised when I went to pick it up. I basically bought the tractor sight-unseen since I knew the loader was worth more than the seller was asking for the unit and I don't see a lot of loaders for these machines for sale. The owner had a grainy picture of it in the ad and only said it was a 20 hp tractor so he evidently didn't know much about it. Unfortunately the loader was in much poorer shape than I was hoping, but I still would have bought it knowing what I do now.

I don't really want to part the tractor out. I'd rather repair it and sell it as a whole after it's back to good running condition but I'll probably just hang on to it and get some use out of it. It's amazing how much quieter the 3-cylinders engines are (and compared to my ailing KE70 it is amazingly stronger). I almost need to put ear plugs in to run my Iseki TX1300F now after running the K3A. I can't understand why the 2-cylinder engines knock so loud since they seem to have the same basic design as the 3-cylinders. I guess it may have something to do with the "odd" firing pattern of the 2-cylinders vs. the "even" firing of the 3s. Maybe the injector pumps play some role in this also, I'm not really sure. The 3-cylinders almost sound more like a gasoline engine.
