Just thought you folks would get a kick out of the pic of my front porch.The kids counted almost 300 wind chimes[the wifes collection].My bedroom is next to the porch.Can you imagine the racket it makes.Believe it or not ,ive become ammune to it. I should have used thicker rafters.ha ha

WOW, we have one little set of chimes and I love listening to them but I cant even imagine how much noise all those must make Im still lookin foward to my first set of Farmall chimes, maybe someone will get them for me this Christmas

Im kind of tired tonite ,when you said tinkle on the porch ,i thought the lab had an accident ha ha
Try sitting out there during a thunder storm! I dont know what scares me worst the thunder and lightnin or these flying daggers all aver the place.
You gave me an idea.Im gonna buy some toy tractors and make her a windchime!!!!

I didnt get a chance for another pic ,but i will. I was gonna make a lame joke about these chimes ding a lingen ,but i wont go there.[your play on words were lame enough...but cute.]
I dont know about closin in the porch,but i may have to prop some 2 by 4s up under the rafters!

Spent 3 months sleeping under a JBD (jet blast deflector) hydrulic pump on the USS America and 6 months sleeping under the 3 wire (03 level) on the USS Ranger during desert storm (all night flight operations). Bet its real quiet at your place. To this day, I can sleep thru any noise.
