Snow LET IT SNOW!!

Picked up the new toy just after the 20"+ here in NJ 2 weeks ago. Now it looks like we may get another 20"+

We're at 12 inches in Syracuse, NY so far w/ drifts and trust me, the novelty wears off quickly when you have to snowblow in the wind and you don't have a cab!!

14-16 on the ground now and still coming down hard. Time to head out and clear it now, and then go have more fun later.

Gerard is right. It's not much fun with out a cab. I started out with a lawn tractor with a blower and no cab, then got a cab for it, and finally graduated to the Kubota with the heated Curtis cab.

Ahhh, but insulated coveralls and a balaclava are so much cheaper and easier to store for the summer...

I enjoy being out there with the snow pelting me in the face.
There is however no doubt I'd feel different if I were doing it several hours a day and was trying to make a living at it.
I should have a measly 4" to plow this evening.

Been out today twice to clear the snow. First time was over 10 inches of wet heavy snow. Had to it in two bites, first pass to plow the lighter fluffy stuff on top out of the way with blade 2-6 inches off the ground, then the clean pass.

Then I went out again to clear as you see in the pictures today to since its still falling, kids had no school today.

That's the problem, You get a tractor with a "girlie" cab and you start doing snow dances and before you know it we all are up to our hind quarters in the white stuff.
Look guys this was going along fine, Al Gore had this whole global warming thing going and I was having thoughts of watching my slow growing grass while enjoying an adult beverage. :licking: Now a bunch for you go buy these woosie cabs (heated no less) and doing your "let it snow" chants. Before you know it we have "climate change" and talk of a new mini ice age. Nice going guys.
