It snowed over 31 inches in December--more than any month on record for the Quad-Cities. Blower works great.

Another shot. Blower housing is 23 inches tall and 59 inches wide. Tractor is JD955. The rubber tire traction aids are great.

Jack, the only thing I know about snow is that it's cold. But It sure looks like that blower is doing a job. Great pictures, The first one really looks cool.

Harv,
After seeing all the snow pictures, and stories, I appreciate not having it. I like being able to buzz a 1/2 hour away to play in it.

Or, like at our old house in Camino, Ca, we'd get 6-8" two or three times a year. It'd melt of in 3-4 days. Looked pretty, but didn't have to shovel and clear and fall on butt and stuff.

Jack,Old Man Winter has delt just about everybody a pretty crappy hand.I've heard of up to 100" of snow in some in some areas so far this season.It looks like you are equipped to deal with what ever Mother Nature can dish out,good pics,and remember spring can't be too far off.Although,I remember one of the worst storms we ever had was on April 9th,1972.

When I see all the beautiful snow scenery that people are posting here I sort of feel like we're missing out on something, but then I recall the episode I had with black ice up at the property a couple of years ago and I'm happy that we're missing at least some of it. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

The fact is we don't have "real" seasons here in Californy, and that's kind of a shame.

Looks like you have the right tool for the job.

I checked the local weather statistics this morning for here in Syracuse NY and we have had 110.6" of snow so far this season. We are also working on a string of 26 consecutive days with measurable snowfall. Before yesterday the temperature had not been above freezing in almost a month. Our snowfall for the month of December (70.6") was the most ever on record and was greater than the total snowfall we had last year./w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif Believe me when I say that I have seen more than enough snow for this winter already. It would be much more bearable however, if I had a snow blower like that one instead of my rear blade. Nice looking unit. MJB
