The wife recently had some lemonade and was told they made it with lemon juice, water and apple juice instead of sugar.

I've been looking for a recipe for that with some ratios for each of the ingredients.

Anyone know about that or have an old family recipe?

She said it was the best tasting lemonade she's ever had and here at home, we ONLY make fresh squeezed so it had to be good.

Sounds good,

Real maple syrup is pricey but it sure is delicious. I take key limes, freshly squizz them, take a bit if their fresh zest both for flavor and natural lime oil, some crushed ice, and a bit of maple syrup and blend them smooth. It turns out pretty good, pretty refreshing and the boys love it.

JC:)

Ps.As far as proportion... you just gotto wing it depending if you want tart or sweet.

I have a recipe that calls for apple juice concentrate. It's in the freezer juice section at grocery stores. You add water to it to make apple juice. Could this be what you are looking for?

2 servings

1/2 cup lemon juice
2 cups cold water
6 tablespoons of apple juice concentrate.

Also works in pumpkin pie to replace the sugar for those diabetics out there. Have to experiment a bit, and home canned pumpkin and apple sauce are the best. I have not idea what they put in those cans in the store, maybe some squash or such. Mainly use that for the dog if has the scours, about a tablespoon or so in the food firms things right up.
