LED work lights for tractor. How many lumans for decent visiblility?

The title says it all. With 2 high and two low in front perhaps a lower Lumen rating might work there. What's a good ball park figure for a pair?

I have one 18w LED on the front of my BX. It does a great job. Not sure of the lumens though.

Just when you're used to watts & "candlepower" they come out with this lumen BS:laughing:
I bought some Chineese lights on ebay and do not remember the lumens, they may not have been rated that way. I do remember that I got a pair of 27 watts and there are 9 visible (through the lens) led's, and another pair of 48 watts with 16 led's. I like the 48w lights better. I have had no problems with these lights at less than half the price of "locally sourced" lights. They produce a very "white" light that is nice but I don't really understand all the fuss over led lights on a vehicle unless most of your work is at night for the (suposed) "hours of service" that they get over a halogen lamp.2X 48W 4 3inch Flood Square Offroad Car Boat Truck SUV 4x4 Ute LED Light Bar Fog | eBay

Part of this is that tractors are notorious for using low output wattage alternators - so, to get better light it is nice to have lights that consume less power - and LED lights, as a rule, consume far less power then halogen.

I have 2 rigid d2 duallys they provide more than enough light i believe each is in the 3000 lumen range and not built in china. The standard dually would be sufficient

I have 6 CREE LED lights - 4 - 36W (3600 Lumens each) LEDs on the cab, 2 forward and 2 rear with 2 - 26W on each side. Lights up like daylight and current draw is less than the lights I replaced so it is a direct replacement. (Side lights were off a different circuit).
Light output dwarfs OEM lights. With headlights on and when I turn on the LEDS it's like the headlights go off...they are that bright.

I helped the neighbor install a couple work lights on his BIG JD. Julian A McDermott Corp out of Ridgewood, NY. They are 50 watt, 3500 lumen and measure around 9" high by 12" wide.

Now these are some SERIOUS work lights. They will definitely turn night into day out about 150-200 feet in front of the tractor.
