Are any of you using the LED clear bulbs replacing the filament bulbs used
in the LA115 for headlights?

They cost under $10 each from the internet sellers compared to $24 plus
from NAPA.

I plan on going all out and buying a fender radio for it to pass the time while
mowing or clearing the driveways of snow.

Give us a link and some pics if you do it. :)

After looking at the prices for these radios I can probably pass on them.
Maybe when I can afford a bigger mule I will buy one.

I've been using similar bulbs on my 345 (also uses 1156 bulbs). No problems, the lights are brighter, don't get hot, and they use less power (although I haven't been measuring it :)). Just make sure you get bulbs that have leds the entire way around, not just some of them that are "forward firing".

Also make sure you ask about the color scale. You want around 4500K to get true "white" light. A lower number than that will give you yellow (incandescents are around 3000K) and a higher number will give you the bluish light you see on some of the ricer cars.

ADDED IN EDIT:
I just looked up your link. I would NOT get those bulbs since they are basically the forward-firing type (they only have 1 led with 180-degree viewing angle). I recommend something like their part number 1156-x18-T-CAR that has 360 degree leds. Those are exactly what I have been using (but bought from ebay) without any problems.

How do those compare to an 18 Watt 6 "bulb" LED spot or flood?
Amazon.com: TMS® 2 x 18W 1260LM CREE Spot Led Work Light Bar For Off-road SUV Boat 4x4 Jeep Lamp: Automotive

I just bought two of those for $20 total.

That's a good deal. I have four of the 36 watt flood (not spot) variety on my tractor. For tractor work lights, I think the flood version is much preferable, makes the work area for the backhoe bright as day. They also make a mixed version, half flood and half spot. Wide variety on eBay. Search LED light bar etc.
