I spent some time today using my boxblade on my gravel/ crusher - run driveway trying to "dress it up".Then put on my back blade smooth things up but when I lifted the blade up heard a loud clunk. Turns out that my right "Turnbuckle" rod was bent. I was able to straighten it out and put it back on, then paused for a while I took a break and read the Kubota Owners manual on the topic of the 3 point hitch. There it said in black and white "after attatching implement adjust left and right turnbuckles to prevent horizontal movement" No wonder I bent the turnbuckle rod.......I've been using my implements for over 3 years without making this important adjustment!!..........don't make the same mistake that I did!!

I'm sorry to read about your misfortune. But you never wondered why your implements were so loose? You'll have more control over your implements now.

My neighbor did exactly the same thing to his. When he brought the turnbuckle in to replace it, they had no replacements in stock. So he asked the parts guy something like "so I guess people don't bend these things too often?" The parts guy (probably only half jokingly) responded "only city folk who move out to the country and buy a tractor"
