On my B7500 it leaking oil at the seal near the nuckle! Not to bad but its getting worse when its hot out. I know they can build pressure but it never leaked before! I switched to 80-90w gear oil about two years ago. Is this a known problem, and how hard is it to fix? Does anyone have a wright up on how to take it apart to replace the seals. Anyone else have or had this problem? I am a mech. just never worked on this type of axle! Thank you!!

The front axle leaks appear to be common on all four wheel drive tractors, but ones that do a lot of FEL work are usually the worst. Seems like these are fairly easy to do with common hand tools, but I suggest getting at least a parts breakdown from the dealer or better yet a repair manual.

BTW - mine are weeping a little, but not enough to lower the level of gear oil. So I'm putting it of for another year or so.
