Leakdown of the bucket tilt cylinders..

hi,
issue 1)my 5500 will not start with a new battery
i checked a relay
it clicks when i turn key on.but my glow plug light does not work or anything else

issue2)i have been having a problem with leakdown of the bucket tilt cylinders

happy to be on tractorbynet and to share issues with u people...

help me

New Battery, relay clicking equals a battery that is not charged good enough to turn your stater over or is not making a good connection.
Tilt cylinder leak.......how fast is it leaking down? Is it under load? Does it leak down when emtpy?

Leakage is continuous with out load there is Leakage.

Check and clean your ground on both the battery and tractor frame.
The leak down on the cylinder can be isolated to either the cylinders or the valve body.
To find out which one it is raise your bucket up off the ground and disconnect the tilt cylinder quick coupler hoses.
If it leaks down then you know it is a cylinder if it does not leak when the hoses are disconnected then you know it is a valve issue.

About a month ago my tractor woulnt start and it turnned out that my starter had wet trash in the brush area of the starter. When it was very cold the trash would freeze and not allow the starter to work properly. When it was warm out it would turn over just fine.
