What do you guys use to protect the lawn from the tractor, specifically while spreading mulch into beds? I have a kubota bx2380, and the FEL bucket is not very large so I have to take many, many trips.

Do you guys just throw down plywood? I am hoping there's a better/cheaper/easier option here  I have the turf tires, and I've aired down to around 8psi, but it still killed my lawn in high traffic areas. Im just curious so I don't kill my lawn next year.

Thanks!

When I lived in the city, I was worried about my lawn. Now I use the tractor to mow. I just want it green.

But here is what I would do on nice lawn:
- lighten the machine as much as possible, ie take any rear implement off unless needed.
- use 2wd only, but take care not to spin the rear tires at all.
- avoid running the same area over more than a couple times, take separate routes.
- use a cart if possible

Don’t drive in the same spot, don’t use 4wd and don’t turn sharp. It’s been a non issue for me.

Use the FEL to load a wagon & then take it off, pull wagon, etc.
