Large-Frame 4000-Ten PIP

Just an FYI.

Just got notice from my dealer that a PIP has been issued that includes my 4710. A new exhaust heat shield (from the description wraps around the bottom of the radiator?), positive battery cable (perhaps the old one will be too short) and various clamps.

They're going to schedule some time on a weekend when they can come out and take care of mine and one other impacted unit in my area.

They put the PIP on my 4700 in December. Should only take them 30 minutes or so if the FEL is off the tractor. Mine was off since I was changing oil/filters and coolent so it was good timing for me. The cable to the starter from the battery is much larger and there is now a shield between the exhaust and the cable. I had just changed my coolent and the only way I could drain the radiator was to move the exhaust which was not a big deal. It will be harder to get to the pecock due to the PIP.
