Dealer quoted me $2k for LandPride 84” Landscape Rake, does not know if he can get gauge wheels, they will be extra if available, sounds very high to me, just me or is it just todays prices. Trying to decide if I need one that bad.

Check with Everything attachments - I bought one from them a few years ago and it is extremely well built and will hold up to your MX.

I had a Landpride rake with guage wheels on my B7800. Tried raking the driveway without them at first, BUT, trust me, the wheels made all the difference.

I think I paid $400 for a King Kutter 84" rake 4 years ago? I doubt they're that cheap now. Also the KK was probably about as cheaply made rake as you will find. It works fine for a rake, I mean it rakes stuff, but it's certainly not some heavy duty commercial rake. It only gets light duty use here at my own place, but so far I have not had any issues with it.

It does have manual angle, but no offset. Also, you cannot spin the rake all the way around 180 degrees while it's hitched to the tractor. It will hit the rear tires first. That's really about the only negative I can think of for my own uses.

I ordered an 84" homestead implements rake before their recent price increase -- was ~$1400 with gauge wheels. Looks like it'd be $1700 now.

Not sure which land pride model you're looking at, but it sounds roughly in line with the quotes I got from my Kubota dealer($1565 for LR1684, $2325 for LR2684 without wheels)...but it would be a year before they could get the rake, so I went with homestead, who quoted 6-8 weeks (I was told EA was about 4 months out on rakes)

I picked up a 7 foot Pinnacle series rake from Homestead Implements last year after much research. I was specifically looking for heft, build quality, and cat 1/2 compatibility. The Homestead product exceeded my expectations

I went with Homestead and have no regrets. The rake has been very useful for me. Working on the driveway, road and getting the ground ready for grass. I even manged to hook it up today in under 5 minutes. A new best time!
