Just purchased a 2520 and inquired at the dealership about a landscape rake. They suggested LR2060, and gave a price of $750.00 Wondering how that model performs and holds up under use. Additionally, if the $750.00 price sounds about right.

I'd recommend you go 72".

The LR2060 is a 60" rake. (EDITED: Yes, the 72" rake would be better)
I've priced them (but I'll buy used eventually) and $750 about the going for an aftermarket 72" rake (without gage wheels).
I reckon that Frontier rake would fit your quick hitch (if you have one and if it's a Deere unit) with no modifications.

Personally, I'd look around a bit more unless you really want a Deere brand (Frontier).

You have plenty of tractor for a 72" rake.

I would get the widest rake that will work in your yard from 5' to 7' maximum. I have a 5' and a 7' landscape rake and both work behind my X749. I tried the 7' out of curiosity more than anything, made my front end light but pulled with no problems. Should be an easy pull with a 2520.

just bought a new 72" king kutter last week for $399. works great and hooked write up to the imatch quick tach with no mods other than adding the bushing kit.

As mentioned recently, I bought the same rake recently, and I have been using it off and on all day today. It is amazing what all you can do with these things and unless you are using your rake to rake boulders, this rake is plenty heavy for anything that you need. I've pushed mine and it has not backed down thus far.

A tip: spend $50 at Agri-Supply and buy 10 spare tines ($3.99@ + shipping). When one gets bent, simply replace it (10 minutes). When you get down to 2 new spares, straighten your inventory at one time and you are good to go ...

Thanks for the information. I didn't realize that I could use a 72" rake with my new tractor. Going that route definitely sounds more productive. I went with the JD brand out of appreciation for the outstanding deal they cut me with the 2520 tractor. The $2500.00 promotion, on top of the already good price I had received, made it a really sweet deal.

Land Pride, RBT15, you can angle left to right and up and down, great for using the rade to get leaves and debris out of a ditch, and, you can swap it out, for their scrapper blade, I use both, 72",
