That was a good choice. Boy I wish that was near here. I just ordered one for spring delivery. I used to have a older 1560 and always liked the way it did not clump the cut grass. I wanted to upgrade the width to a "72 and could not get another Landpride so I went with the Woods. I got clumps. I will be putting the Woods up for sale in the spring.

I have an older, side discharge, Landpride 84 inch finish mower. I can't speak for any other brand, this is the only one that I've owned or used. It's a well built mower. I've replaced the tires with solid tires so that I won't get any more flats, and I've replaced all the blades. They are real easy to replace once you get the mower up in the air enough to get under it. Blocks of wood work good for this. I also hit a stump and broke a spindle. It just cracked the cast iron house and I lost the bearings when it came apart.

Parts are easy to get from my local Kubota dealer. They just pull up a diagram of the mower and order what you need. In a few days, they are there. Prices seem reasonable, but again, I don't have anything to compare this too.

I can't image anybody not being happy with a Landpride mower. It sounds like a very good price and if it's in decent shape, it's probably a once in a lifetime oportunity.

I'd consider that an absolute bargain for that price. I've got a Landpride 1560, previous series...... 5 foot wide, and its built like a tank. If that ad were near me, that mower would be sitting in my barn right now! :)

If I was nearby I would race you for it. I would like to upgrade to the 72" from the 60" I have now. No problem with the existing mower, just have more power with the new tractor and the 60" is no challenge for it.

I have that mower. No problems at all in two years and it produces a nice cut. That's a great price.

I bought the land pride 1672 tonight for $450 and he threw in a extra set of new blades.I cannot believe the condition of this mower, this fellow had only used it about 10 times to mow with. Deals like these are far and few between.coobie

I'd have to agree. That is a heck of a deal. I've had that same mower for about 3 months, and really like it. I got mine used as well, paid $700 for it, but well worth that, so I'd say you got a steal. My only complaint is with the air filled tires. I'm thinking about switching them out to the solid tires so I don't have to deal with them any more, but other than that it is a great machine.
