What do ya'll think of $1495 for a Landpride 6' rear discharge, brand new, believe it's the 1672 model, anyhow not the real hi-dollar one.

I can probably get a package deal of a 700# spreader with stainless fins on bottom and agitator in hopper, a single shank subsoiler/middlebuster combo, and the Landpride for $2000. About $200 for subsoiler and $300 for spreader. Have I got a decent deal? He seems like a lot better fellow than where I bought my tractor, and comes well recommended. What do ya'll think?

Sorry no one's chimed in yet. I guess if you think it's a good deal, it is close to you, I'd say get it. Have you priced similar implements elsewhere? You might find them cheaper somewhere else, but if you have to spend a day driving to pick them up and haul them back, your time, fuel, etc. figured into the deal makes it not such a good idea. Good luck, let us know what you get.

Thanks BTDT. Yeah, he's $160 cheaper than I've found on the RFM and within $30 of everybody on the spreader and subsoiler combined. The drive's only 10 minutes more. Probly gonna do it.

That is the same price Tarheel Tractor in Lenoir is quoting on their web site for the Land Pride. I'm thinking about getting one. I've used a 5' model for
15 years and love the durability. Never replaced a bearing. Unbelievable. It's the light duty also so I don't think that you would be dissapointed.

Thanks, Turbys 1700. I can't beat his deal around here. I looked at Bushhog but cheapest I've found is about $200 higher. BH and LP were the only two brands I considered.
