Landini error code

Aloha, I have a five year old Landini Legend 105 with an error code "22". According to service manual it is one of three things: position sensor out of position, a short, or broken cable. I've checked the last two and those check out okay. I will be looking into the position sensor today. Any other ideas on this error code?

We have come across to codes recently on our Landini Powermondial 120 and can not locate in book. One was E4 and the other was AL58. Any ideas?
