Does anyone else here have this blower? If so what size bolt is on the top link it's the one meant to be used with the land pride quick hitch, i have a adjustable wrench and they really have that thing on there a socket size 1 -3/16 fits it but not very well. I don't see it listed in the parts list on land prides site.

here is a pic.

Also what is the difference in the outer vs inner skid shoes?

Thanks for the help.

I can't help you with the bolt size but the inner / outer skid shoe design is similar to my Woods blower. The blower will rock back and forth on the inner shoes, raising or lowering the height of the cutting edge by lengthening or shortening the top link. Using the outer shoes limits this action and also can get in the way when clearing snow close to a wall or building. The outer shoes are also outside the cut path and can ride up on ice or heavy wet snow.

I use the inner shoes with a hydraulic top link which lets me adjust the cutting edge height without getting off the tractor. Yes, you can do the same thing by raising the blower with the 3 pt but then it won't ride on the skid shoes and follow the ground contour effectively.

BTW, have you tried using a 28 or 29 mm metric socket?

I finally got the right size socket it takes a 1 1/8 i tired to get it off with my impact driver and i that didn't even move it i have gotten many lug nuts off with it and other stuck bolts. I will try again later this weekend when i can move it outside to have more room to work on it.

It came with the inner shoes. I don't know if the lower wear bar is worth buying they want $260 for it.

Thanks for your help.

Try soaking the bolt with Kroil overnight. Should help.

I'm not sure what you mean by a lower wear bar but if you're talking about a cutting edge, $260 sounds high. I'd shop around a bit. The cutting edge for my 74" Woods is around $80.

I got it off i think king kong put it on. :)

I went to hook up the blower and the pto shaft is to long even fully compressed so it looks like i have to move the snow blower hook up arms out a inch or two. I thought these things where matched to kubotas. It says right in the book.

Driveline (#8) will need to be shortened if hitch
frame (#1) are not fully extended to holes “A” & “C”

I have the same blower and the same questions LOL i have yet to use it. I have NO skids shoes and NO wear bar. I also see you can get side plates?? they look like they would act like wear bars for the sides in place of the outer skid shoes. I am looking at parts on GERMANBLISS but not sure yet what else to order.

I use a quick hitch and still had to shorten the shaft 6" btw
