I bought a land pride quick hitch as most of my attachments are land pride, but my rotary cutter is not land pride. It is a unit by Lowery Manufacturing in Boaz, Al - Clippers -Lowery Manufacturing, Inc.. I'm trying to figure out a way to get the top link to work with either the hook or the floating link on the quick hitch but it won't. Anyone have any suggestions on getting this to attach or will I just have to not use the quick hitch on this.

Can you unbolt the quick hitch top hook and turn it over so it hooks the rotary cutter top link? I have a Priefert quick hitch and the design is a bit different my quick hitch top hook is fully adjustable and reversible. Some of my attachments require me to hook the top link with the quick hitch hook reversed. Good luck

should work with floating top link, but remove hook for more clearance. Your LP QH does have a adjustable top hook as well

I had similar problems hitching various attachments. My solution was to purchase about 30" of 3/8" proof chain and one chain hook to match. Set the top link to where the quick hitch is close to the top attach point on the implement. Next, pass the chain around the point where the top link connects, and then around the top bolt on the implement and hook to the chain to itself, making a loop connecting the quick hitch to the implement. Then shorten the top link to the point that the chain takes up some tension. Might take some experimenting, but it has worked for me on 4 different attachments. Simple, quick !!

Attached are the pics. Perhaps the top link on the tractor needs to be more forward so that the quick hitch is leaning aware from the tractor some? Or do I just need to by another top link and attach it from the quick hitch to the implement?

The hook there will move as stated here but the gold piece on each side just won't stretch far enough. :(

I have the same hitch on both my tractors. I have to change the tilt and the hook location when I change attachments. I sometimes have to remove the hook and slid it in thru the implement and then pin it in place. Here my arena drag behind the TC40DA.

I also see there are no bushings on the lower pins. They will tighten up your load and keep it from rattling and vibrating. I bought a set of the Landpride bushings for each implement so I don't have to move them around. They come in different lengths from 1 3/8" to 2" if I remember right.

geewhz01, If using floating top link remove top hook. You should have some flex at top hook for unlevel ground. You could also (I see you cutters top brace is weld cross wise on the bushing) Pull top pin out, move bushing/ strap to the top hole and use lower hole for top pin attachment since you QH top hook is adjustable.
