Rotary Cutter Land Pride 2072RCF or Rhino 172 Rotary Mower???

I am about to pull the trigger on a rotary cutter and these two are at the top of my list. I am leaning towards the Land Pride 2072RCF as it is $130 cheaper and I can order parts online from Messicks, but wanted to get opinions on my choices.

I have 10 acres that I want to maintain, so I will be mowing heavy grass, small brush (up to 1 inch dia.), so I'm sure these two would handle the load. There are no Woods dealers close to me so that ruled out them. I could also get a Bush Hog BH16 for about the same price as the Land Pride, but have read mixed reviews on it.

I looked at weight, gearbox hp, tip speed, and $$. And ended up getting the Rhino 172 a couple years ago. It is holding up well and does a nice job with my native grass CRP and weeds/ brush around the edges.

I have a LP 2060 that I'm generally happy with. I don't necessarily care for the PTO coupler style or the tail wheel adjustment. I have an older Rhino (possible SE4?) on a smaller tractor and I like the PTO coupler better (twist a ring to open the coupler) and the tail wheel height is changed by moving two pins (no tools). On the Land Pride, you pull back the coupling collar while pushing the coupler into the PTO shaft, kind of a pain to pull and push on something at the same time and you have to break out a wrench to adjust the tail wheel height.

Another thing to note is how smooth the underside of the deck is. On the Landpride, the top of the deck is very smooth and free of supports, this is at the expense of the supports being under the deck, where you actually want it smooth for better cutting and distribution and less places for rust to start.

Made a deal on the Land Pride today. Looked at both the Land Pride RCF2072 and the Bush Hog BH16 at the dealer, decided to go with the Land Pride but could have gone either way. Both looked good, little difference to tell you the truth (shades of grey).

That's what sold me on the Rhino 172. I want the underside smooth so that it's less likely to build up cuttings and crud under there. The top of the deck is easy enough to blow off with a leaf blower; the underneath side would be a PITA to clean.
