Hi,
First post here, and I am asking this Q for my neighbor....he has a 27 horse Lamborghini W/ a Mitso motor that is increasingly hard to start in the cold. He has a 50/50 mix of Kero/diesel, and he has tried the ol' glow plug it twice(Or three or fourX) before starting.
It will run fine once it is going and it will start easy if plugged in, but It should start easy at 30 degrees right? My 28 YO Kubota kicks off pretty easy into negative numbers
He has voltage going to the glow plugs, but they have no resistance and they dont feel warm (can you feel if they get warm?) THey are obvously our number one suspect, but this tractor isn't very old and do all three just quit like that? I think the mitso motor is in a few other machines so wondering if anyone had any ideas....HOw hard is it to change these out? JUst like the spark lugs in our pushmowers right?
Thanks.
