My LA723 Kubota loader has about 950 hours on it. The last 200 hours the bucket has had a lot of movement back and forth when driving over rough ground empty. it rattles back and forth and you can see it move. I replaced 6 of the 8 pins that attach it to the loader frame but it didn't make much difference. It has had heavy use---pushing over trees, grading, hauling dirt digging rocks etc. I have kept it well greased. Any suggestions or is this normal?

Still would need to see where the looseness is coming from! You are missing it, is it in the connection to the base frame?

ART if I raise the bucket off the ground to about shoulder level I can rock it back and forth by hand. At the cutting edge of the bucket there is probably 2 or 3 inches of play. It is definitely between the bucket and the hydraulic cylinders that connect it to the main frame of the FEL. I don't know if this is just normal wear, if I have been too rough with it or, perhaps the links that connect the bucket to the hydraulic cylinders need to be replaced.

I'd be wondering about the main pins where it attaches to the base frame. I've got them out with a lot more for hours and not had one as loose as you descibe.

I could see one or two being bad but I haven't seen one like that yet!
