LA403 Loader hydraulic couplers; can they interchange with others?

Good morning fellow Kubota owners.I have purchased a 3 point hitch log splitter that will require hydraulics.I would like to use power from one of the loader ports at the front of the tractor and run the hoses back to the splitter.My question is,are the hydraulic couplers that you disconnect to remove the loader a standard fitting or are they a Kubota specific part that I will need topurchase from the dealer?Thanks in advance for any help with this.Best wishes.-Andy.

My guess would be that the loader fittings are metric, and your splitter is regular fittings.
There are metric to regular adapters, I think your fittings are JIC or ORB fittings also.
You would need Quick Connects on the loader hose and on the splitter that match the hose ends.

They are standard ISO fittings, if you post the numbers on them we can help you cross reference ones that match.

I meant the part numbers on the couplers themselves, Kubota does not make QD's.

My LA402 came with the Snap-Tite poppet style ... but Kubota may have changed since then.

Yes they are Snap Tite style.I was able to get all hoses and fittings from Discount Hydraulics.Still waiting on some back ordered fittings though.
