I'm in the process of doing the initial 50 hour service on my L5030 HST. According to both the owners manual and shop manual there are (4) drain plugs for the transmission.
Both the manuals are identical in showing all four plugs in clear detail. The (2) large center drain plugs are of same size and type, as are the (2) smaller rear axle drain plugs. However, on my L5030, the forward large transmission drain plug is a recessed allen bolt design while the rear bolt is as shown in the manuals.
A couple of questions:
1. Have any folks discovered this same type of situation?
2. Is this a typical Kubota manual discrepancy and I just need to find a special socket to remove the forward drain plug?
3. Am I only suppose to drain rear center drain plug?
Any experience or recommendations would be highly appreciated.
