My 5030 was delivered today. I was about as excited as I was waiting for my first child to be born...... isn't that pathetic?
Of course my first goal was to scrape off some paint so I took it off onto a trail and started to knock down and rip out some pine trees. Small stuff, but the tractor knocked them down and the loader/bucket dug in and ripped them out by the roots.
Got a medium duty Bushhog Squealer and a 72" box blade. I added on three work lights... 2 forward 1 rear. Hydraulic remote. Hydraulic top link. Block heater. Chain hooks on bucket. Canopy. R4 tires, rears 3/4 filled.
The larger LA853 loader is WILD. Fast, strong and big. I think the speed of it's operations ....tilt up ...tilt down.... raise up and lower were about twice the speed I thought they would be...didn't get a chance to use one much at the dealer when I was shopping. I have to say, that even with the rpm's down below 2000, the loaders' speed is almost to fast. I can't believe how high it lifts.
This tractor drives/steers so smooth. My wife got on and drove it around and commented how easy it was to steer and she liked the loader operation.
Anyway...... IT GOT HERE and now I have no reasons to complain about not having the right "tool" for the many jobs on the property.
