Nice sunny day today and I still need a few trees for next winter's wood supply, so I fired up ol' Tetters and drove up the old logging road. There was still about 18" of wet, heavy snow on top of ice and mud, so I backed up and used the angled rear blade to shove it to one side. Figured if I lost traction I could just drive back down the hill. But this new tractor never hesitated even in conditions that would have stalled the L3010. Dropped four wind-damaged rock maples and drove home beaming /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
If the weather holds tomorrow I'll change over to the winch and drag them home. If not, they'll discourage trespassing by the errant skiers from the lodge on the next hill.
