I had been using my 4330 today and took a quick break, but when I went to go back to work it won't start. The engine cranks but it will never fire up. It is a dt model, clutched tractor. I have checked the pto switch, if I engage it the monitor shows "pto", I have checked the forward/reverser switch, if I engage it either way it says "shuttle" so I would think that it would mean that these switches are working. It had 1/2 tank of fuel and it had been running fine on it. I went ahead and drained the tank checked the fuel filter and put 5 gallons of fresh diesel. I have opened the screw to bleed the fuel lines since I checked and drained the fuel out. It still does not start, it will turn over all day long but nothing else. I feel that it has to be an electrical issue as it was running great when I shut it down. It only has 240 hrs but it is 3.5 years old and out of warranty. Any ideas???

First thing I would do is attach jumper cables to your battery (for more amps) and see if it starts. If it does, you might have to replace your battery.
That's the simplest thing to try, at first.
Then I would check the safety switch under your seat ("deadman" switch) and if there is neutral safety switch and ensure they are working properly.
If you have a manual, read it and find out which fuses do what...see if there are any blown fuses. If so, replace them...if your Kubota has an electric fuel pump...it may have quit functioning. A bad fuse is the most likely culprit.
Since you had ran your tractor already, I don't think it's a fuel problem (but don't discount that entirely).

I don't own a Kubota, so I'm just suggesting the least difficult things to check first.

I have checked the fuses and none of them are blown. Does anyone have access to a wiring schematic for the grand L series?

The fuel solenoid valve may not be opening or the fuel system may be getting air. I'd look at these things after checking what Roy listed above.

I would also look closely at the fuel solenoid on the injector pump. This turns the fuel on when you turn the ignition switch. In the old days when diesels had kill cables to do this job manually. On some of these you can move the lever the solenoid attaches too and turn the fuel on, wire it open get the tractor started and get it to the shop where you can replace the solenoid. Double check the fuse for this, make sure it is OK.

Motor turns over but it will not fire??? It can't be a safety switch since the safety switches prevent the engine from turning over...not firing up.

Is there any black smoke coming out of the exhaust...if not you are not getting any fuel to the cylinders.

Do you hear the fuel solonoid click when you turn the key to the on position?

Check fuel solonoid for voltage.

Fixed it. One of the wires that goes down to the fuel pump had just so very slightly pulled down. It was still in the plug and the plug was on tight but it wasn't up in there far enough to make a connection, but it looked just fine. I pushed it back up in there and made sure that it was secure and it fired right up.

Good:)
That is something you obviously need to zip tie the wires up to keep the connection.

Glad it was an easy fix... Thanks for posting back with the results, maybe it'll save someone else a trip to the shop.

I have a similar problem with my L4330D, but it is intermittent. The tractor shuts down and is associated with some loud clicking near what I believe is the fuel pump on the front of the engine (right side from driver痴 seat) and just behind the battery. The clicks can be very rapid and sometimes it will start right back up, but other times it is like your problem - turns over strong, but just will not start. I致e replaced the fuel filter but this did not look too bad, but it was due. I致e got 607 hours on the tractor. Where were these wires you checked??? going to the fuel solenoid?? was it a solitary wire or a plug with two or more wires?? Your help will be appreciated. Bill in Franklin, NC
