For my Florida woods work, the 6" width difference between the 60"
L3560 and 66-1/2" width of the other Grand Ls was significant.
I suggest you buy a stick of 1-1/4" diameter Schedule 40 PVC pipe, then cut it to 66-1/2" long. Then walk around your place with the PVC and see if 60" or 66" tractor is a better fit in your storage area, key work areas and woods. Also check your gate widths.
I have had zero difficulty getting parts for the two Kubota tractors I have owned. That said, I expect parts for the L 4060/4760/5060/6060, all based on one chassis, have to be available in greater depth than parts for the singular
L3560.
All the Grand Ls share ONE operator's manual. You will not be able to detect
any difference between an
L3560 and an
L4060 during a dealer premise demo. The PVC width test will be time better spent. If you have sloped ground, or intend to pick up 1,800 pound loads with your FEL LA805, the 66" wide L 4060/4760/5060/6060 will be significantly more stable than the 60" wide
L3560.
You negotiated a terrific price on the
L4060. I would think twice before instilling doubt at the dealer about your commitment, if the two of you reached an agreement.
