L4060 on its way!

Posted in the newb forum 2 weeks ago that I was possibly buying now I have the SN and all the paperwork! I'm gidy as an 8 yr old on Christmas! Its getting the third function put in as well as a blk heater and chain hooks welded onto the bucket.
We have 8 acres that were burned last summer so I have a butt load of trees to move and cut as well as grassland recovery. The fire was so hot on our property that it sterilized the dirt. Weeds aren't even coming back; its just scorched. Next purchase is the wicked grapple.

Congratulations. Those are nice tractors and you know you got a good reliable machine with Kubota. Did you get quick attach on front of the FEL? Pictures when you have them please.

Congrats on the purchase.

Definitely get a Grapple of some type. It'll increase your productivity a hundred times over. Also will make you a very lazy man. My Grapple is on my tractor 95% of the time. I do a lot of timber work. Rarely pick up a tree limb by hand.

Also, with a Grapple you are gonna need some ballast. Load the rear tires with fluid, non corrosive, I used windshield washer fluid. Might want some 3pt ballast as well. I carry around my 1200lb box blade most times, unless in congested timber, then it gets in the way.

That's a nice sized machine. And with the l4060 your get a bit more clearance between the fel connections and the front wheel than the next size smaller which I think is a big deal.
