Price Check L3940HSTC & L4240HSTC pricing

Are these prices about right?

L3940HSTC (cab & air), R4 tires -$24,000.00
LA724 Fel, quick coupler, standard bucket - $3995.00
Heavy duty bucket, which I think we want - +$329.00 for a total of $28,324.00

L4240HSTC (cab/air), R4 tires - $25,350.00
Quote came priced with LA724 Fel so I don't have a price on the LA854.

I was a little surprised to find a better deal for a JD4320 4wd-E-Hydro Cab w/300CX Loader, R4 tires for $30,400.00, after rebate $29,400.00. Isn't the 4320 more equivalent to the L4740?

I paid $24460 in May for my L3940HSTC and $4395 for the loader and quick attach bucket. So the price you got seems pretty reasonable. I had checked at two different dealers before I got my L3940 and the prices were pretty close to each other so I went with the one closer to home. It has been a great tractor.

Your prices look reasonable to me. I priced out a 4240 & 5240. Both of you have requested the quick attach buckets? I never asked dealer about them but after reading this board sounds like I better inquire. Gentlemen how much are the QA's? Thanks, Frank

I don't recall exactly but I think it was only a couple of hundred dollars difference. My dealer said that they only get the quick attach loaders because so many people wanted them and the cost was not that much. I like it because I can take the bucket off when I am mowing even though I don't have any other attachments yet.

Since I put on the QA, I would never have a tractor without it. I never knew how sweet they are. Change from bucket, to grapple in seconds, and then to forks etc. Prior it would be miserable lining things up.

WoW MoM WoW, the prices are certainly creeping up. I paid about $22,000 for a L3830 HST with R4's, foldable ROP's, TnT with third remote, heavy duty loader bucket. These dang tractors are getting pricey.

Those prices are for CAB tractors. The non-cab models are a few thousand less.
