L39 Width

Hello All,
Sure this has been answered before but can't seem to quickly find it. How wide is the L39 including the amount the BH stabilizers stick out in the up position. I am thinking I have a job that will allow me to justify buying this gem I just need to make sure I can get it into their back yard.

Actually it doesn't thats where I checked first. All kubota.com has is the wheelbase.

Sorry about the delay. Had to take care of the Munchkins unexpectedly tonight /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The L39 is 67" at the rear with fully retracted stabilizers. It is 72" at the front, due to the bucket......And just in case you or anybody else is wondering, it is just over 20' long (20' 2") with the hoe in the retracted/locked position.

Jim is right, the largest width for getting somehwere is the width of the FEL bucket, which is 72", everything else after that is a couple of inches less than that, including the rear tire track and the BH positioners.

It is an extremely maneuverable unit though, which is one the reasons why I like it so much.

Great thanks for the info,

I saw one today at the dealership so I am def. salivating. They were selling this one without a backhoe. The dealer said he reccomends it over the 3830 as it is built for commercial use and is only a little more.

Go back and take a gander at the undercarriage on the L39, you will be amazed at the loads of steel that comprises the extra heavy duty frame on this thing, it is one clean machine from the bottom up /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
