Oil & Fuel L3750 Oil Leak

I looked at a used L3750 and it has an oil leak that comes from the top of the bellhousing under the dash and then dribbles down both sides. From inside the engine compartment, you can't see the source due to a firewall and I couldn't see far enough into the area under the dash either without removing sheetmetal. I wonder if someone who is familiar with this model can indicate possible sources of leakage from this area? I normally work on my own equipment and I'm interested in this tractor if fixing the leak is not likely to require a major overhaul. I know this is very general and the route of least risk requires a thorough investigation. I'm just trying to find out if this is worth my time to pursue further.
