I was looking today at a L3710 4WD with LA682 FEL, and was quoted 17,900. How does this look? I have not done alot of research on the Kubota. I have friends that swear by them though. I had been focusing on the JD and NH. The L3710 looked and felt nice to drive, and I like all the metal (Sturdy looking). Any thoughts on these units, Price, Quality etc.? I just bought 22 acres mostly pasture and some rolling hills. I may plant a few acres this summer just not sure yet. Mowing alot of grass though, and some loader work (fairly light)

Thanks for any input

I paid $18,800 for my new L3710DT with LA682 FEL w/ foldable ROPS and loaded ag tires in March of '02. It's a great piece of equipment and I can't think of another piece of equipment that I would prefer. I now have over 80 hours on the unit and have had no problems other than a couple of loose retaining bolts on the loader.
I'm not sure about your FST designation, though. The DT is a synchro gear tractor with shuttle, the GST is Kubota's glide shift transmission and the HST is the hydrostatic transmission. NH and JD were both nice tractors when I looked them over, but I liked orange better and it was cheaper to boot.

Mine's about two years old. It's been trouble free even with hard use. It's a good combination of power and compact size.

If you're thinking about a mmm find out how easy it is to install and remove. Hopefully Kubota redesigned the mounting system. The older ones give you a real workout.

I have a L3710 HST and it is great. I have only had it about 8 months and it has 125 or so hours on it. This was my first tractor and I can't think what I did without it.

I've had my L3710 for almost 4 years, 400+ hrs. I've never had a problem and am very happy with this tractor. I brush hog 20+ acres, hay another 15, snow blow 800'+ drive, till several acres and do lots of loader and box scraper work. I strongly recommend the HST for loader, tilling and snow blowing, it's great to have infinite speed control. It's a great little machine!

I have a L3710 HST, FEL and Curtis Cab, bought used (2 years old with 311 hours) last August for $17000. About 80 hours tilling, mowing, posthole digging, woods road clearing, and snow removal since purchased. Great machine, no regrets!

The FST stands for Fully Synchronized Transmission, and that is one of the three transmission types available on 3710's.
