l3600 no hyd pressure

Ijust finished puting my tractor back together after fixing the rusty clutch linkage. started it up and no power stering. tried switching the hoses left and right. thought maybe i had them mixed up. still no stering. think the pumps not working.I think the repair manuel said these things are sensitive. I had the lines removed from the pump while working on the clutch . the stering wheel now spins 360 degrees around. could i have damaged the stering controler while manualy stering and moving tractor around the yard before geting it in thr garage . I thouth for sure i was going to be done with this today. time to take a break. any input apreciated thanks bill.

If the steering wheel just spins around, that sounds as if the steering isn't hooked up at all. If if you have no power steering, I think it should still steer, just really hard.

The steering is hydraulically coupled, the steering wheel just turns a pump that is tied into the steering system... I sounds like you have no oil in the steering pump if you can turn it with little or no resistance... Check the lines ...

hydrolic pressure finaly came back on its own. just had to be paitent. started it up and ran and shut it down sevral times. now my rpm needle guage is acting up. its bouncing all over. think it has somthing to do with the wiring plug in conector. dont think the kubota service manul covers this.bill
