I am new to the forum and to tractors altogether. I recently was told of a Kubota L35 TLB for sale locally. It is a late 90's model with around 1000 hours. It comes with a Kubota rotary cutter, tiller, and disc. They are asking 20K for all. Does this sound resonable...and how are these tractors? What is the normal hour meter usage...? Any advise or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I did a quick search on Iron Solutions for a L 35.
There were several ranging from $18,000 to the mid $20's. With the extra attachment your price is good.

Before buying my 3130, I went to a dealer who specifically serves the construction (vs. farming, landscaping) industry. He had a number of L35s on the lot, and quite a few with many more hours than that and a similar price without the additional implements.
A thousand hours isn't a lot for an L35. What matters is the condition of the tractor and implements. An L35 can take a real beating, but how much of a beating a used model has taken can have a lot of effect on the price you can get for it.
I have a neighbor who bought a used L35 with just the loader/backhoe.. no additional implements.. typical wear and tear and about 1800 hours and he spent 20 grand on it!

FWIW... I went to a sale in South Western PA about a month ago where there were seven L35 for sale among other equipment. They all had Just under to just over 2,000. And all looked to be in about the same, well used shape. They were TLB with no other implements. All went for $13,000 to $15,000.
Yours sounds like a pretty fair deal to me.
