I have not yet found an owners service manual yet and had a few questions on the transmission in my machine.

1. How full should the trans be? I assume there is a side plug you can remove and fill until it seeps.

2. What type of fluid is used?

3. Does the same fluid go back to the rear and axles? I have a small leak in one axle and just want to make sure this is full. I will be repairing this shortly and just want to be safe.

Any Help on this would be great.

Thank you.

There should be a "dipstick" behind your right foot when you are sitting on the seat to check the trans. level.

Ok got it. Now. Where should the level be on the stick? Also what weight gear lube? Just 90w?

Thanks!

There should be a full mark about an inch up the stick. The rear axle and transmission case is the hydraulic reservoir so it uses universal tractor hydraulic fluid.

There are to marks. One about a 1/4 inch from bottom of stick and the other about 1 inch up from that.

The lower mark is the ADD mark and the upper mark is the FULL mark. Just like the engine oil dipstick.

and if it is anything like mine, the fluid is so clean it is hard to see on the dipstick... I had to step outside in the sunlight to see it properly.

Yes...Its super clean. But it was very low. I will pick some UDT fluid up and get it back to where it needs to be.
