Tractor been sitting for about a month.

Today I start it off, try to move, it moves a bit, than something clicks, it loses power and stops. If I keep on pressing the pedal, it shuts off.
If I release the pedal, RPMs go back to normal.
Same behavior no matter what RPMs I set at, or what speed I set (well, tried with L and M)
Worked like a champ before.
It may have been sitting at a very slight decline (5% or so).. I could swear I saw something about a parked decline and my model, and thought it didn't apply to my model due to year of manufacturing (2006)

But I might be missing something, I am still rather new to operating one.
I am going to go re-read the manual for now.

So much for Tractor Fun-Day.

For my own reference in case manual doesn't help

Sounds to me like your seat sensor isn't working. The intent of it is to shut the tractor down, if say, you fall off. So, when the tractor isn't moving, it doesn't care if it doesn't detect anyone seating in the seat. However, as soon as the tractor begins to roll, if you're not present in the seat, it will shut it down. Note, you may have two switches on your seat. One switch is to operate the PTO and detects when you lift the seat up and lay it on the steering wheel. This let's the tractor know you're doing something with the PTO while of the tractor. The seat switch you care about will be inside the seat, but most likely you will probably find the connector to it isn't engaged completely or you have a wire issue. On my tractor, I just took a paperclip and stuck it in there to short it out as I need to be able to stand up a little while sneaking forward on some loads and sighting where I am going to slide the forks through.

Might check your brakes.

Thank you. I knew I experience that before, just couldn't figure remember under what conditions :)

I had a jacket under there, and while I was sure it wasn't on top of the sensor, I think it was thick enough for the seat not to depress the sensor all the way down.

That was it. Would've probably taken me the rest of the day to figure out something simple like that.

Back to Tractor Sunday Funday.

BTW, all implements worked fine, of course.
