Don't forget about the higher the lift height the longer it will take and the higher the lift capacity the slower because of larger cylinders or higher system psi.
I don't think u can get an apples to apples comparison.

Actually, the cylinder stroke and bore is very similar on all three loaders. You would think using your observation that the Kubota would be the slowest since it has a comparable lift height and greater lift capacity, higher system pressure and smaller GPM pump, greater rollback and dump angle (to the JD) but is the quickest if I recall correctly. The TC 35 I've forgotten many of the figures. They all were decent. I noticed quite a bit of difference between the L3830 and my L48. I was happy for the increase in speed.

By the way, do any of these machines offer an automatic self-leveling control that maintains a preset bucket angle to the ground throughout its cycle?

I know the LA 723 does not and pretty sure the others don't as well. I had it onmy L48. After having it and now not having it, I don't miss it.
