L3400 2003 drive train squeal?

I have a 2003 L3400 with 96 hrs. I bought it used with about 40 hrs. When I bought it every once in awhile I would hear this intermittent squeal coming from the tranny/drivetrain/front end area. (very hard to tell exactly where it was coming from) I thought nothing of it (1st tractor and not familiar with their noises) and knew also if I brought it in chances are the dealer would not be able to duplicate it as it was very very intermittent. Now 50 hrs later it has become more constant after the tractor has been run about 30-45 mins. It does it in 2 or 4 wheel drive. It is louder backing up than in forward motion. I have shut off the engine and coasted down a small hill forward and backwards and stepped on the brakes but no change.(thought maybe a brake was dragging) I recently jacked up the front end and put it in neutral after operating it for about 45 mins and the squeal starting. I rotated the wheels by hand and the squeal is coming from the Xmsn oil pan area. It is worse when I spin the wheels backwards. It sounds like a "dried out bearing" or something rubbing on something making the squeal. I know I'm probably going to have to take it do the dealer but any ideas before I do? Sad thing is that it was under warranty when I bought it. That'll learn me eh?
