Can anyone tell me some rough pricing for a L3240 with R-4 tires, GST or the FSt transmission, and the LA724 loader? I am located in New England so I know everything is a little higher up here.
I bought one a few months ago. It's a DT, 8x8 shuttle (FST) for $14,500, LA734 loader with QA 72" materials bucket for $3,700, BushHog Squealer 60" with slip clutch for $1,100 for a total of $19,300.
Carver equipment has the GL3240 HST with loader (doesn't say if it's the 734 or not) for just over $19k. I'm pretty sure the HST is less than $1k more than the GST. Carver's prices are generally about 10% to 12% below retail. I have yet to find any NE dealers selling for much less than retail.
Thanks everyone for your replies. I went this past weekend to a local agricultural fair and saw a 3240 HST with R-4 and the L724 loader. The dealership wanted $20,400. I know I am in New England (New Hampshire) and things tend to be a bit pricier, but wanted to get some more ideas. I haven稚 gone to the other Kubota dealer in the state who I personally feel has a better reputation and has been a family business for much longer.
Mine is the HST, here is what I paid for mine..
L3240HST
LA724 Loader
72" heavy duty round back quick attach bucket
Bolt on cutting edge
R4 Tires Loaded
1 rear remote
delivered for $20,800
I'm in WV and purchased the tractor across the river in Ohio.
Located in Arkansas I bought a new L3240 with 8x8 shuttle & loader last month for a flat $16,500.00. Then added a 5' Woods BB60 hog for $1100.00. So far I haven't heard of a better price anywhere. I love it so far. Very stout tractor & very stout loader. Rear lift design & strength + syncro shuttle + independant pto + much stronger loader with wider bucket, better seat, flat floor with mat, folding rops, digital dash, etc. puts it well above the standard L3400. Well worth the $1700.00 more than the L3400..
