L3130 prices in NH?

Howdy, I'm in the process of deciding between a L3130 and a TC35. Best price in Plaistow, NH area is $19,265 for the L3130 w/ 513 FEL and the TC35 quote w/ FEL was $21,250. After reading other posts here these appear to be significantly higher. Does anyone know of any better prices within a hundred miles or so? Mass. or Maine, maybe VT?

Steve, There's a fellow in Elliot, ME that sells Kubota who's been known to sharpen his pencil. Sorry name escapes me. Best deals on Kubota I have found are in New York. Emerich Sales or Salem Farm Supply. Neither are far from Albany. Best deals in NE on NH is Scamman Tractor in Saco ME, ask for Rick.

You may be refering to my recent posts which states I was given a price for a new 3130 with 513 FEL for $15,900. Keep in mind that is the GEAR transmission and NOT the HST.

Judging from what I've observed, we get to pay a "premium" here in New England. I guess we're just lucky. In the dealer's defense, the cost of living as well as the cost of operating a business is higher here than in many areas of the country.

I don't know if you're in the normal service area of my dealer, Leahy Equipment. He is in Holyoke, MA (just north of Springfield). If that is within your acceptable range, you might wish to give them a call.

I was in the exact same boat as you 1 month ago. We're *lucky* in my area there are 5 Kubota stealerships within 1 hour drive. I think they all meet for Sat. morning breakfast and price fix /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I got real tired of their thinking that I was a captive audience and I decided to go out of state. After reading every post about Woodbury Tractor in CT and Bob Wolff - I decided to go with him, it worked out excellent. Bob's a nice guy to work with, no bad attitude to deal with, and worked hard to make me happy. Do a search on him in the boards and you can see all the other happy TBNrs
He delivers, and will do major warranty work at your house - (not that Kubotas need it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
I bet you he probably could save you a couple grand on your set up. And - he also saved me big bucks on my implements as well.
All the dealers try to talk up their "after the sales service" and "how they are going to take care of you". For a couple of hundred $ I could see staying local, but when your talking between 1000$ - 2000$ -AND still getting that dealer service from Bob - I say to heck with the local dealer. Maybe if more of us go out of state, these guys will get the message and come back to reality.

Do a search on "valkman", and look for a post about "New England dealers for Kubotas" or something like that. The TBNrs gave me about 15 names of NE dealers to call. That should keep you busy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I got a new L3130 HST, the 723 loader, Calcium loaded R4s and a 65" Bush Hog Box Blade and paid about 21 out the door (taxes included).

I bought from Emerich in NY. He frequently has an ad here in the Classifieds.. That's how I found him. I'm sure he would deliver to you. I'm about a hundred miles away from him and paid a couple of hundred dollars for delivery.
