Price Check L3130 price?

Want to thank gray and others for comments that steered me towards a L3130, was originally thinking of a smaller tractor. Tried one out today and was impressed - the type of tractor I was looking for.

Believe I received a reasonable quote, but would appreciate any and all comments. The good heads on this board have much to offer.

L3130 HST - 4x4
L723 FEL
HD Bucket w/tooth bar and 3 chain hooks
Rim Guard in rear tires
Frost plug heater
Quick attach
R4 tires
Price - $19,900

Received prices on Box Scraper, Post Hole Digger, Grapple bucket. Not included in above.

Sir, I recently bought a 4330 with cab and air. While shopping I priced a 3130. I was quoted 14300 for the tractor. I think the loader and bucket can be had for 4000, maybe a lttle less. I don't know about the rest of the accessiores,,,,but I think that quote might be a little bit high. Now that's just a my thinking. Thanks for the comments. Was the price quoted you for an HST transmission? Was the loader a 723? If so, I may have to do some more bargaining.
The discount was approximately 15% off list.

Penokee; While I have no experience buying a 3130, if you have a price that is 15% off list, you are doing ok. Around 20% off qualifies as a great deal on a Kubota, but usually there has to do be extra factors to get that (20%) type of discount, such as a dealer wanting to reduce inventory, a less popular model, etc.

Penokee, the price qupted me was a 3130 with hst. $14300 and I think he would have came to 14 if I would have bought it. I bought an LA 853 with my 4330 and paid 4000. Unless those other things are runninng it up more than I think, you can beat that price at least in this part of the country, North Mississippi and lower Tennessee. YOu can look up the dealers from the Kubota website from Savana Tn and Jackson Tn and give them a call. I just about know you can beat that price here I would guess by maybe alittle less than a thousand dollars. Just my thinking from a few weeks of shopping. There is a dealer in Bolivar Tn that would do or say anythnig on the phone to get me in there but when the time come he would no get down to business like he said he would. He said he would not be undersold but he was by several hundred dollars and I went thirty miles farther to get the deal. I just wouldn't have felt good about paying more than I had to and I'll bet you wouldn't either.luck to you teddydo /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I won't mention the dealer name but I bought mine in Jackson Tn......Savana is good too

Pennokee maybe since I obught a bigger Tractor with Cab and air he discounted the other things more.....don't let me mislead you but pleaase get some other quotes.....teddydo

I am having a hard time getting the 15% and 20% offers as well.

I received a quote of almost exactly that same tractor (minus the tooth bar) and it was also $19,880.

I am in Bloomington IL. Maybe we need to drive South for this purchase?

But then I think about it - 5% of $20K is $1000 - What is $1000 if I have to drive 600 miles and when I am spending $20K.

Very annoying dilema.

Pen, I and few others have posted recently on our searches for an L3130. I too am ready to purchase a L3130HST with LA 723 FEL (unless I succumb to the tempation of purchasing the L4330 with LA 853 FEL). I suspect I'm not in the best part of the country for tractor pricing (Northern California), but I have only received quotes lower than yours for slightly used machines (i.e.., harvest rental returns). The "list" on the L3130HST with LA 723 and standard bucket is $21K. Your quote is better than 10% off that. Something close to $18K would be 15% off, which lots of folks on TBN say represents a very good deal. If the $19K quote comes from a dealer that you like alot, I doubt you will regret anything down the line if you go with it.

Thanks for all the comments. I plan to shop around a little more and seee if I can do better. I was letting myself be pushed into a decision by the cutoff date for the 0% interest for 3 years, but since the current promotions run until the end of Dec. gives a little more time to check things out. Price I'm getting is from northern Wisconsin.

total - 23,360
cash discount (-) 3,460

Discount: 3460/23,360 = 14.8%

Final price ---------------------- 19,900

Plan to visit another Dealer tomorrow and get price on same tractor.
