The 3130 is a great size but just curious if anyone has turned up the power on their tractor? Now I am not talking 100 hp, but if anyone turned it up 10 hp or so? I believe the transmissions are the same between the 3130 and 3430 on up. It would be nice for the mower I run. It bogs down a little and I would like to go a little faster while using the snowblower for the front of the tractor.

I have a L3130 and it is a large frame tractor for the HP it has. For loader work no problem. Had a 72 finish mower and it did okay. With a 72 inch rear snowblower it was not very good. I would not try turning up the power as whatever it gained would not make very it very much better and could damage your engine. I've been around farming all my life and seen many poeple do things to get more power to there engine. It never has a good long term effect. Only good way to get more power is a larger machineIMO.
