Kubota L3010
Hello, I have a L3010 that does a great job for me. I have noticed that my dash panel gauges no longer light up and that my headlights and turn signals no longer work. The tractor cranks and runs great, but I would like for the electricals to be operational. Where do I start???

First would be to check fuse block for a blown fuse, second would be a pinched wire. Where I'm located I have to deal with corrosion so switch could also be the issue. If you have a multimeter of any type, you can start tracking wires. I'll try to help you out the best I can without being there. If needed you can post picks or pm pics. Either way we can get it solved.

Topzide, thanks much! I'll try to take a look at it tomorrow when I get to the farm. I keep the tractor in a shed, out of direct weather, but there's still corrosion concerns and there's no way to keep the occasional mouse from building a nest. Thanks, Rowdy

Rowdy Sounds like you have a handle on your electrical problem. If you want to keep rats/mice from building nest in/on your tractor keep a light burning near your tractor.

Does that really work ???? Most other simple remedies I have tried like dryer sheets don't work so good.

Hey I went through some issues on a L3010 that I borrowed off a friend and thought I'd share this on a somewhat recent post about this issue. No lights worked in the machine and the emergency shut off knob had to be used to shut it off. Fuse block terminals were rotted out so I replaced the fuse box with a 6 circuit one from Autozone. I soldered 2 bridges inside of it so I have 3 key off and 3 key on circuits. I had to cut all my wires back about an inch to get good copper. I have just blank connections on the unused terminals so nothing can ground out. Everything works great now.

I know this post is a few years old, but I'm having the same issues with my 3010 fuse box. The bottom of the box is so corroded that the terminals broke off.
I was thinking of replacing with an OEM box.
Can anyone tell me how you get the wires out of the old box and into the new one so I can still use the original connectors?
I'm thinking OEM since I don't have a wiring diagram.

Thanks

Your choice as always, but reusing the connectors is just keeping much of the problem in the system.

I just wasn't sure how the connections are made within the fuse box, but I thought if I could get the old ones out without destroying them, I might have an idea how to install the new connections into the new fuse box.
Can't seem to find any images or information on how to do it.

Thanks
