I,m so excited I almost forgot. I think I got a pretty good deal. $15,800 for the L3000DT w/LA450 loader w/toothbar and Woods 6' rear discharge finish mower w/turf tires.

Paul -

I'd say that was a pretty good deal.

I paid $14K for my L2500DT (187 hours), ag tires + new LB400 FEL + full warranty + California sales tax (8.25%)

I believe the 3000 is very close to the same tractor with bigger muscles and a "live-continuous running" PTO.

I hear a lot about HST, but after only 25 hours on my gear-grinder I am totally comfortable with it. I think a shuttle would have been a nice feature, but since I've never used HST I certainly don't miss it (please, HST-lovers -- don't jump down my throat).

I think these economy L's are a lot of bang for the buck. They call them "no-frills" tractors, but they are very comfortable, easy to use, solid little workhorses.

You gonna love it, Dude! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Congratulation Paul,
Hope you don't wear holes in your carpet while pacing around until your L3000 shows up. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Looks like Santa coming early this year for you. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Now you can start lining up attachment also making plans for next year once the ground thawed.

Once again Paul enjoy and send pictures.

Congratulations on the newest addition to your family. You have to seriously remember, the tractor is not one of the kids. You only have to buy it birthday and Christmas presents if YOU want to. Sounds like a great tractor setup.

I live in SE Michigan as well. If we get lots of snow this year maybe you can help the rest of us push the white stuff around. Which dealer did you end up buying from?

Great price, I paid 16K for the same machine with a 6'woods rear blade. Good luck, Rich.

Congratulations Paul! You'll love the gears as I do on my 790. Are you catching any of this lake effect white stuff to play in?

bpence-
I bought mine at Alderman's in Lennon. I was very impressed with the the whole operation, including service(which was important to me because I always seem to get lemons, no matter what I buy).

RobS-
No lake effect snow here...only about an inch on the ground here. I'd be delighted to be pushing that much around right now if I could.
Did I mention I can't wait until next week?
