L2850 Tachometer Parts or Repair?? Help!

The tach on my new to me L2850 does not work. I know that the cable is functional and that it is turning. The tach basically does not move. At high rpms it will bounce at the bottom a bit.

Has anyone ever repaired a tach? Anyone know a source for parts?

How about a source for a replacement tach?

Any info is appreciated.

should not be too hard coming up with a used one .. and rebuilding one is not that bad... check with your dealer to see if the internal components are available... KennyV

KennyV in this great world of ours it is hard to find a gauge that is rebuildable!
