Oil & Fuel L2800 fuel filter relocate

the last two trips to the deer lease/land i have broken the fuel filter housing pushing saplings with the fel, any reason i can not unbolt the filter housing and relocate it under the hood, either tie wrap or find a new place to bolt on. i saw some home made guards months ago, but i think it would lot easier to just move it off the side of the tractor where it is exposed, $14 the first time, $18 the second time

I don't see why it cant be moved, if remember it is bolted to the block, moving to a safer location should not be difficult some fuel line, clamps and zip ties should do it.

If it is the one filter with the In line and Out line with the bleader hose coming off the top you will probably loose the self bleading function.
