L110 Oil Filter Dilemma

Hello,
Great to find this website! I've got an L110 (Kohler 17.5 hp), and it's time to change the oil and filter. When I went to Walmart and Home Depot (where I bought it originally), the filters marked Kohler are taller/longer than those that I've bought previously. Has Kohler made some change?

to make sure you get the proper filter I would get your engine model # and compare that to the package..
